About Z-hoops Camps

Zander has played travel basketball in Weston, CT since 5th grade, he has excellent advice to share with your children about how to succeed in Weston basketball + beyond. Zander is a Senior at Emerson College where he formerly played basketball for the Emerson Lions, qualifying for the second DIII March Madness tournament in school history. He most recently played for the University of Auckland in New Zealand and the semi-pro team UOA-EXE participating in 3x3 tournaments across the country . Zander played four years of AAU basketball with the NY Gauchos, Stamford Peace, and the Runnin’ Rebels. He attended basketball camps every summer growing up, including Northwestern University, Fairfield University, Weston High School camps, and more. He participated in the NYC 2017 Jr. NBA shooting competition. Zander also worked at the Fairfield University basketball camp prior to starting Zhoops Camps. There will be multiple courts on our property in use, as well as many athletic conditioning and strength training activities. There will also be coaches from Weston High School and D1 college basketball players attending! |

Kapita is a head counselor at Zhoops and has been with the camp since 2021. Kapita and Zander played AAU basketball together on Runnin' Rebels in 7th grade and played against each other throughout high school. Kapita later played on Mobilios Fitness and CT Elite. He attended Bunnell High School in Stratford CT and was a two-year varsity player. Kapita is currently a senior at the University of Connecticut.
